Kenneth plays a key leadership role in setting the strategic direction of our organization and spearheads innovation within the organization to better serve the people we collaborate with. His goal in top of leadership is to provide opportunities for UHC partners, clients, community, and employees. When he is not taking on the role of project principal for some of our high-profile pursuits, projects, and accounts, he typically works alongside the various UHC teams on strategic plans to ensure a sustainable growth plan.

A seasoned veteran of the United States Army with eight years of service, John retains experience as an entrepreneur with over 36 years of project experience in electrical construction and building trades, public utilities, hospital facilities management, disaster relief, and restoration for the public, private, and government agencies.
John is in charge of negotiating, maintaining, and updating contracts and leads in establishing contacts with outside businesses and developing contracts that meet UHC's financial and professional goals. He is highly adept at negotiating contracts and proposals and works with internal teams and customers to resolve risks and problems and non-compliance issues. As part of his role, John ensures that contracts are in compliance with laws and organizational policies and oversee maintenance and compliance with existing contracts.
John also leads the UCH team of project managers and is responsible for providing leadership, strategically managing risk, monitoring finances, and ensuring that each project phase starts and ends on schedule. In addition, John works within the project's scope of work and is responsible for critical decision-making, budget, and resources.
John retains a degree from Leigh County Vocational School and various certifications in Electric and Engineering.

In addition, he has worked in various contracting sectors with federal, state, local, and K-12 and Higher Ed organizations in commercial sales, marketing, construction, specialty trades, education, and healthcare.
Bennett oversees all areas of consulting, procurement, proposals and proposal strategy. He manages UHC's approach to government and development to ensure a focused and consistent processes based on organizational growth strategy and client needs. He oversees compliance with proposal knowledge management processes and proposal strategy guidance. This in turn provides support to local and remote customers on solicitations and provides direction for moving forward with projects.
Bennett retains a Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies from Towson University and a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on Math, Science, and Technology. He is certified by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, the SCORE Association, and the General Services Administration.
